Reply from LTA and SMRT

This afternoon when i woke up ( woke up at 2pm today, hee!!), both LTA and SMRT replied to my complain letter. They are pretty efficient than expected huh.

Their replies are as follow :-

LTA

Dear Ms Guay

Please refer to your email dated 11 Jun 2007.LTA does not condone any malpractice or misconduct by errant taxi driversin any incident involving taxi passengers and view all complaints lodgedwith us seriously.

In this respect, we wish to inform you that we will be assigning anInvestigation Officer to look into your feedback against the specifiedtaxi. The case officer may contact you for clarifications when necessary.

If your case is a straight-forward one where evidence against the errantdriver is strong and the facts are not disputed, we will strive to replywithin a month from the date we receive your feedback. However, if thecase is more complex, we will need more time to ascertain the intricaciesof the case, and we seek your understanding that we may take longer than amonth to reply to you.

SMRT


Dear Ms Guay,

We refer to your email for the unpleasant experience you had with the driver.

We wish to inform that SHB9058 does not belong to the fleet of taxis operated by SMRT. We have by copy of this email, forwarded your feedback to other taxi operators for their direct reply to you.

Apart from this e-mail, i received a call from SMRT to verify with me that SHB 9058 is not under SMRT but SAMRT...erm...okie....
