Another reply from LTA

Dear Ms Guay

Please refer to your feedback of 11 Jun 2007 concerning the above matter.

We view all complaints lodged with us seriously. We will investigate it
thoroughly and fairly. To enable us to do so, we would need to hear from
both complainant and the driver concerned, and obtain statements from both
parties. In addition, we also need to have your undertaking to testify in
court if required. This is because court action will follow if the driver,
who were offered composition fines under the Taxi Vocational Licence
Demerit Points System, fails to accept the composition fine offered to
him.

In this regard, we would like to interview and record a statement from
you.
We would appreciate you could call at he Bus & Taxi Regulation Department
(3rd Storey), Land Transport Authority, 10 Sin Ming Drive, Singapore
575701,
on 26 Jun 2007 at 3.15 pm together with your witness(es), if
any.

If you are unable to come on the appointed date and time, please call me
at
telephone no 6553xxxx for an alternative arrangement. If we do not hear
from you by 26 Jun 2007, we will refer it to the taxi company concerned to
look into and take whatever action they deem necessary.

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.

Regards
TEO SWEE (MR)
